Choosing the proper roof for your shed

The primary purpose of a roof is to keep rain and snow out – no great mystery there, Sherlock. But think about things like how tall the person or people using the shed are: If you’re tall, you’ll want appropriate head space unless bumping your head somehow energizes you as opposed to hurting you.
The Gambrel style roof features a classic barn look that gives you increased height and plenty of overhead space. That’s key because it allows for additional storage space.
The Peak style roof will give your shed a more traditional appearance. This particular style is popular because it fits almost anywhere. Please note, Sheds USA 6x6 and 6x8 size sheds are only available with the Peak style roof.
The Extended Peak style roof features a 12-inch overhanging eave on the front of the shed. This roof style is designed to block rain and snow from pelting down on the door and windows, thus helping to preserve your shed.

The best part is whichever style you choose, you won’t need a raincoat or a ski cap while you’re in there.
